Parents,

Please take the time to read the email carefully. There is A LOT of information included. 

-Final reminder- the meet this Saturday (6/5) closes tomorrow at 10am. All swimmers must declare they are or they are not available for the meet. Please sign in asap to the link below to declare your swimmers availability. The league does not allow late entries. While you are there you can declare for all 4 meets. https://heightshammerheads.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

-Meets generally last 3-4 hours depending on how fast it runs. Please plan to be there the entire time. If we get done early it is a bonus. Events and relays can change quickly so it is important that all swimmers check in with the coach if they are leaving early just in case they need them as a sub for an event. 

-We still have quite a few volunteer slots open for the meet this Saturday. The meet can't start without enough volunteers in place. Please go to the link below to sign up. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508044AA5A62EA20-2019 You can use this link to sign up for all 4 meets at the same time. 

-All families are required to volunteer for at least 3 meets. After this meet we will be contacting families who have not volunteered yet so please get signed up today. 

-Volunteer slots have a 1st shift and a 2nd shift. The times listed are an approximation. Please arrive and check in at the hospitality table when you arrive at the meet. We will use the remind app to change shifts so make sure you have the app on your phone. -If you are a timer at any time during the meet you will need to attend the timer meeting at the beginning of the meet. 

-Swimmers events/ready bench- We will use the remind app to call swimmers to the ready bench. Please make sure you are watching your phone for updates to events going to the bench. It is your swimmers responsibility to pay attention to the meet. If swimmers do not show up when their group is lining up they could miss their event. We will not yell or search for missing swimmers in the lineup. The ready bench and walkers have a big job. Please help them with this process by paying attention to the app. 

-We will have concessions at the meets again this year. Big thanks to Susan Torres for stepping up to fill that role. We will have a limited menu since we only have our team at the pool this year. We will have tacos first thing in the morning, along with drinks, & other snacks for purchase (cash & coins only) throughout the meet. Once items sell out we will not have them again until the next meet so don't wait to buy the items you want. Concessions will close 15 minutes before the meet ends.
