Hello Former Heights Families,

It's that time of year, again! 

Before I share the registration dates, I'm announcing that this will be my final season as team rep. I will be needing a replacement for next season. If you are interested, please let me know! I can start showing you the ropes now. :) 

Starting on March 16th at noon, registration for the swim team is open to Heights residents only. On March 23rd, if there are still openings, registration will open to previous swim team members for one week. On March 30th, If there are still a few openings, it is open registration (any non-resident must be friends of and sponsored by Heights residents).

For the 2025 season, our head coach started a Pups program for those younger swimmers who weren't strong enough swimmers to compete (all competitive members must swim the length of the pool according to LSSSL rules for safety). It was a wonderful experience for all, and it will continue for the 2026 season.

The following is the 2026 swim season, based on our final schedule from last year:

Practice schedule (there are never practices on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday):

Afternoon Practices start 5/12 from 3:30pm-6pm

No practice on 5/21 due to Mock Meet 6-8pm

No practice on 5/25 due to Memorial Day

Morning practices (7:30-10:30am) starts 6/1 and runs through 6/26

Other dates:

Swim tryouts 5/4 and 5/5 from 3:30-5:30pm

Parent meeting 5/6 at 6pm (we will not use the pool this night, we will meet in the communal area around the pool)

Meets will be on 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, and 6/20. Only two meets, 6/6 and 6/13, will be home meets. They will go from 8:30am-1pm (meets normally last 3.5 hours, but we will need to set up and clean up).
